COVID-19 vaccination centres: closure of the centre Luxexpo The Box and reopening of the centre Hall Victor Hugo

The temporary vaccination centre at Luxexpo The Box (Luxembourg-Kirchberg) will close on 5 March 2022. It will be replaced by the Hall Victor Hugo vaccination centre in Limpertsberg which will reopen on 8 March 2022.

Like the other vaccination centres, the Hall Victor Hugo vaccination centre will offer the following vaccinations:

  • First dose, with or without an appointment
  • Booster vaccination, with appointment
  • Booster vaccination without appointment for Luxembourg residents or citizens who received a first vaccination abroad or for people who received a first dose of vaccine from a mobile team (Pop Up)
  • Vaccination of children aged 5-11 years with or without an appointment for the first dose

Vaccinations at a general practitioner's or paediatrician's medical office are only possible by appointment, which must be made directly with the relevent practitioner. Appointments (for vaccination) at the vaccination centres can be made online at Guichet.lu.

Persons visiting the vaccination centres without an appointment are requested to arrive at least 30 minutes before closing time.

New: closure on Mondays and new opening hours

Starting on 28 February (inclusive), the 3 vaccination centres as well as the Pop Up stations in shopping centres and at Luxembourg Central station will be closed on Mondays.

On 26 February 2022, due to the launch of the European Capital of Culture, Esch2022, the vaccination centre in Esch-Belval will close at 12 noon instead of 1pm.
