Prime Minister Luc Frieden travels to the West Coast of the United States

Prime Minister Luc Frieden will travel to Seattle and San Francisco on a working visit from 8 to 12 November.

On the agenda will be high-level meetings and visits to key companies, particularly in the digital sector, with a special focus on artificial intelligence.

The main objective of this visit will be to strengthen economic, technological, and scientific partnerships with key stakeholders on the U.S. West Coast. In a tense geopolitical context, this working visit will also offer an opportunity to discuss stakes of new technologies, particularly regarding Europe's and Luxembourg's sovereignty.

On November 11, to mark Veterans Day, a national day of remembrance in the US, the Prime Minister will meet with Ken Mar, a US Army veteran who fought in the Battle of the Bulge, to pay tribute to him and honor his commitment to serving his country and Europe.
